Lodge Membership
Membership is $35 per year. Tri-County Lodge #3 represents sworn and retired law enforcement members of city, county, state and federal agencies who work or reside in Charleston, Dorchester or Colleton counties. This also includes detention officers. Non-law-enforcement persons may join as associate members. The cost is also $35 per year. Associate members must be of good standing in the community. Lodge Meetings
Meetings are held the second Monday of each month. The doors of the Lodge are opened at 6:30 pm, and dinner begins at 7:00 pm. The meal is provided without charge.

Benefits provided by the State Lodge to all active members in South Carolina:
$5,000 Accidental Death benefit is paid when a member dies from accidental bodily injury. or exposure or loss of life due to adverse weather conditions, or disappearance for 365 days after the date of an accident.
$5,000 Line of Duty benefit is paid in addition to the Accidental Death benefit when an active at work member is killed in the line of duty.
$2,500 Occupational Assault benefit paid in addition to the Accidental Death & Line of Duty benefits when an active at work member's loss of life occurs as the result of an act of physical violence.
$5,000 Common Carrier benefit paid in addition to Accidental Death while the member is a fare-paying passenger on qualifying public transportation.

In addition, Lodge #3 will also pay an additional insurance benefit of $2500 to any active Lodge #3 member who dies due to any circumstance and has a valid beneficiary statement on file with the lodge.
Use of the Lodge facilities are available for personal events to active members for a nominal charge. Scheduling restrictions may apply.
